Celebrate the season of connection by slowing down and sinking into a shared physical
experience. This workshop is designed to help you and a partner expand your physical range
and ease while enhancing your communication through the power of collaborative release.
In this session, we move beyond individual practice. By using each other’s body weight and
gentle resistance, you will find a sense of openness and relief that is difficult to achieve alone. It
is an exploration of trust, breath, and mutual support—the perfect way to unwind and reconnect
after the Holidaze.
What to Expect
Collaborative Bodywork: Learn techniques to safely guide your partner into a state of
total muscular surrender for the hips, shoulders, and spine.
Breath Synchronization: Practice "co-breathing" to calm the nervous system and
increase the effectiveness of every movement.
Guided Connection: A curated sequence of movements that encourages non-verbal
communication and physical empathy.
A Restorative Atmosphere: A warm, inviting space focused on recovery, presence, and
shared relaxation.
Important Details
Who to Bring: Please attend with a partner you are comfortable with in moderate
intimate proximity. Because many movements involve physical contact, weight-bearing
support, and close physical alignment, it is best to come with a spouse, partner, or very
close friend.
What to Wear: Comfortable, flexible athletic wear. We recommend layers to stay warm
during the slower, restorative portions of the workshop. Such as Yoga pants, lighter long
pants, and T-shirts with a light hoodie available toward the end of the session.
Skill Level: No prior experience is required. All bodies and ability levels are welcome.
In the practice of shared movement, we learn that we can reach new levels of ease when we have someone to lean on.
